Stone Hill Design Associates, Inc. provided complete landscape architecture services for this newly developed residence. The design team comprised of the architect, interior designer, landscape architect, and builder, worked closely with the client through all aspects of the project’s development. The interior and exterior spaces were designed in such a way as to maximize the views, create ease of circulation, and embellish the property with outdoor “rooms” that encourage large group activities and entertaining, as well as offering private garden seating, ponds, and meandering trails.

The initial siting of the house, driveway, and outdoor spaces were carefully staked out in the field prior to construction. Stone Hill Design also contributed design expertise and material selection for the patios, walkways, fence & gates, stone walls, pool, and pool house. Outdoor lighting was added with the landscaping as the final touch in making this property enjoyable at all times of the day and through all seasons of the year.

Collaboration with other design disciplines was important to the success of this project. Stone Hill Design worked closely with Penza Bailey Architects and Swann/Hall Associates interior design.  Natural Concerns, Inc. completed the landscape installation.
