Stone Hill Design Associates, Inc. provided complete design services for this large property in Baltimore City . A new contemporary addition was joined to a large traditional stone home. This blend of old and new inspired the landscape architects to create a design that bridged these two styles. The landscape softens the architecture and enhances the setting of the house, through the use of both formal and informal plant choices and configurations.

A new driveway and guest parking area was developed and the existing tennis court was relocated to provide long vistas to the rear of the property. A terrace made of a 2' x 2' bluestone grid set in lawn offers rear yard seating and circulation. A Rose Garden, Shady Garden, and screening were also developed to enhance and offer a private setting to the rear yard.
