Phase III & IV

Landscape architectural services for the site development of this new student housing complex included incorporating new buildings with the existing circulation patterns of the campus. Several courtyard spaces were created to enhance the varied uses of the housing complex, including an extensive paved plaza used for large-scale gatherings. Site furnishings such as benches, lighting, tables and chairs, etc. were also selected for the project by the landscape architects.

Phase V

Stone Hill Design worked closely with the design team, the University, and the developer to provide landscape architecture services for this  on-campus, student housing cluster. The Concept Plan defined circulation, views, public versus private spaces, and recreational facilities.
The Design Development plan further studied the courtyard spaces formed by the arrangement of the building masses. The opportunities for a ‘residential’ setting were embellished by introducing seating areas amid tree bosques, grills, and tables throughout the interior courtyard spaces, open lawn areas, flowering trees, and perennial beds. Tree-lined streetscapes were designed to offer generous cross-walks and plazas, which serve to join the interior courtyard spaces to the more public pedestrian and vehicular pattern of the campus.
